Find Sanctuary in Self-Discovery
Let’s break free from the “stuck” together
Mental Health Therapy Services in Omaha, NE
Hello and welcome to Jackson Therapy & Consulting. I’m Ronelle, LIMHP.
As a licensed independent mental health practitioner serving individuals and families in Omaha, Nebraska, and surrounding areas. I help people make sense of life experiences that may feel overwhelming, offering guidance in implementing more effective, meaningful strategies to achieve fulfilling changes and adjustments.
Looking inward is never easy, but you’re worth the hard work.
I’m an advocate for embracing the entirety of life's experiences – whether they're messy, difficult, or broken, as well as joyful, beautiful and simple. When we recognize our resilience and contentment stem from embracing imperfections, we discover freedom from feeling stuck.
I believe every person deserves to have someone in their life that will listen non-judgmentally and offer unbiased counsel. Your thoughts and feelings don't have to define you. There are many different evidence- based strategies that we can explore to help get you to where you want to be.
How I Can Help
01.
Individual Therapy
In our one-on-one sessions, my focus is on you and your needs. We begin by identifying your desired outcomes, followed by exploring your past experiences and challenges, then developing tools that pave a way for fresh perspective and personal development.
02.
Individual Intensives
Individual Intensives are 3–4 consecutive days of extended sessions designed for individuals in the midst of emotional overwhelm, trauma activation, or major life changes. This format is ideal for those experiencing a sudden surfacing of traumatic memories, a destabilizing relationship shift, or a period of acute distress that requires more support than weekly therapy can provide.
By condensing treatment into a focused timeframe, intensives offer a concentrated, structured process grounded in principles from evidence-based trauma treatments that helps you regulate, gain clarity, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with more stability and confidence.
03.
Family Intensives
Family Intensives are designed for families navigating estrangement, long-standing conflict, or dysfunctional relational patterns. Intensives are for families who want a dedicated, accelerated path toward repair, understanding, and long-term relational change.
In this focused, multi-hour structure, we clarify goals, identify communication dynamics, examine negative patterns, support trauma disclosure, and address boundary violations that have impacted trust and connection.
04.
Professional Consultation
I support licensed therapists and allied professionals in refining their niche, strengthening their clinical skills, and deepening their understanding of theoretical practice.
Consultation is designed to help you explore complex cases, navigate nuanced situations and lead with great clarity and confidence. Our work together is collaborative and reflective, rooted in sustained growth and genuine transformation—not quick fixes or surface-level strategies.
My intention is to build a trusted partnership with you by honoring your experience, respecting your expertise, and supporting the evolution of your goals and vision that matter most to your practice.
What Brings People to Therapy
There is no single reason people reach out. Some arrive in the middle of a crisis. Others have been carrying something quietly for years and are finally ready to begin the process of safely unpacking, processing, and integrating those experiences.. Whatever brought you here, you do not need to have it all figured out. We move at your pace.
Some of the most common experiences I work with include:
Trauma and PTSD — Processing experiences that remain active in the present through intrusive symptoms, strong emotional responses, and relational patterns
Anxiety and worry — Quieting the self-doubt, overthinking, and intrusive thoughts that keep you stuck or confused
Depression — Reconnecting with meaning, vitality, and a fuller sense of self when life feels heavy, flat, or distant
Complicated grief — Understanding loss that does not follow a linear timeline, and working through its ongoing emotional and relational impact
Family estrangement and conflict — Navigating fractured relationships, boundary violations, and the weight of long-standing relational patterns
Caregiver fatigue — Tending to yourself when you have spent so long tending to everyone else
Identity & Self-Worth — Understanding and strengthening your sense of identity, confidence, and personal value.
Body Image & Weight Loss — Exploring body image and weight-related challenges with self-compassion and psychological insight.
Spiritual experiences — Finding clarity around faith transitions, spiritual experiences, high-control religious environments and questions that feel difficult to untangle.
Your experience doesn’t have to fit neatly into a category to be valid here. If you’re curious whether this is the right space for you, I welcome you to reach out.
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach to individual therapy is grounded in evidence-based treatments tailored to your needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in sessions.
Sessions are designed to meet you where you are by balancing insight with strategies that help you move from merely enduring to genuinely living. Clients often describe my approach as grounded, collaborative and conversational focused on validation, understanding and forward movement.
Values That Inform My Work
Let’s be genuine. Through honest conversations, I hope to validate you and enable you to live freely and securely in who you are.
Let’s be curious. I operate from a compassionate curiosity that welcomes anyone from all walks of life to explore their most burning questions. The “whys” of life are difficult, but curiosity will move us forward.
Let’s connect. You matter! Therapy can be challenging. My goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment as you make vital decisions on your path towards healing.
Let’s “dig in.” Your time is valuable, and I want you to get the most out of this experience. As I get to know you, we’ll identify the best approach to help you take steps toward your goal with timely conversations and suitable interventions.
Let’s collaborate. Our partnership is a team-spirited environment where you feel supported in every conversation. My hope is to make you feel empowered by walking alongside you in this journey.
